New layout website

The layout of the website has recently been adapted to the general style of the websites of Naturalis Biodiversity Center. It can now be managed more efficiently and the website will profit directly from any innovations which which will be implemented for other sites. One of the direct advantages is that the website is made ‘responsive’, meaning that it can be adequately viewed on any device. Another advantage of the new situation is that photos can be uploaded again. Recentely more than 1000 photos have been added to the database, bringing the total number of species with a photo to 511, about 50% of the European fauna.
